Vicki S. Sherman

Vicki founded VSS Consulting in 1996 as a full-service marketing and public relations company. Vicki began her career at Laurence, Charles, Free & Lawson Inc. in NYC and then held senior positions in account management at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising. Next, she joined Clarion Marketing & Communications (a subsidiary of DMB&B and formerly known as Fresh Perspectives) where she was involved with account management, new business, and the creative process. Vicki was quickly promoted to Vice President, Director of Account Services and several years later, ventured out on her own. Vicki holds a B.S. from Cornell University. She has sat on several community and town boards and currently serves on the Lions Club of Pound Ridge where she oversees a foreign exchange program between Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua, NY and Carey Baptist Grammar School in Melbourne, Australia, and is an active member of the Cornell Alumni Ambassador Network.

Ellen G. Miller
Director of Communications & Public Relations
Ellen has more than 30 years of experience in public relations, developing and implementing a broad range of marketing communications, corporate positioning, and issues management programs for health care, consumer products, and nonprofit organization clients. She has worked for several New York City-based public relations agencies during her career, including Chandler Chicco Companies (part of Syneos Health) and Cohn & Wolfe (part of the WPP Group). Ellen is a seasoned communicator, skilled at translating complex ideas into digestible content. In addition, she is an experienced advocacy partner driving outreach, policy, and coalition development. In her community volunteer work, Ellen has been dedicated to enhancing student learning, health, and wellness. Ellen earned her M.A. in Food Studies from New York University and received a dual B.A. degree from Syracuse University: an advertising degree from the Newhouse School of Public Communications and a degree in psychology from the School of Arts and Sciences.
